Hi, I’m Mary
Simply put … I help people move from conformity to creativity. At work, at home, and in the moments that matter most.
I’m a keynote speaker, facilitator, and creative thinker who believes that creativity isn’t about being artistic … it’s about having the courage to keep going in a new and different way, to connect deeply, and to show up fully.
For more than two decades, I’ve worked with organizations, leaders, teams, and individuals who want something more than another motivational talk. They want an experience that feels human, grounded, and lasting.
That’s where I come in.
Here’s what you should know about me.
Creativity has always been my throughline … even when I didn’t have language for it.
I’ve spent my career noticing the moments when people shrink themselves to fit in … and the powerful shift that happens when they’re given permission to think, speak, and lead in ways that feel true.
Whether I’m on stage, in a workshop, or deep in conversation, my work lives at the intersection of curiosity, courage, connection, and creativity. I don’t believe in quick fixes or flashy solutions. I believe in creating space … for better questions, braver ideas, and more honest conversations.
Because when people feel safe to be themselves, better work follows.
I believe …
Creativity is not a personality trait … it is simply a part of who we are.
The most powerful ideas come from curiosity, not certainty.
Connection doesn’t come from sameness; it comes from being seen.
Courage is often quiet … and incredibly contagious.
I don’t ask audiences to be louder, bolder, or more polished.
I invite them to be more present.
Because the moments that change how we live … and how we lead … usually begin with a simple shift in how we think and how we listen.
A little more, if you’re curious.
I’m based in Kansas City and spend most of my time juggling life on the road, meaningful work, and family life … though not always in that order. My husband is my steady partner and our two daughters are my world … Whenever we can, the girls join me backstage or in the audience, learning from, and alongside, me.
I try to instill in them a belief that best ideas often show up when we stop trying to impress and start paying attention. Because that is where creativity becomes the courage to keep going in a new and different way … even with the path forward is new or uncertain.
